The other day, I was trying the new open source application monitoring tool called insideApps. Features seem to be good but the installation process is lengthy and does not go smoothly. I encountered these issues:
1- It has a huge database and in case of MySQL you need to change my.ini which looks odd and there are still script errors,...
2- After installation there are numerous port conflicts that I just gave up trying!
3- Its installation and batch files are highly dependent on your server configuration and evnironment variables which is not good.
It is although acceptable since it is on version 0.9 beta and I will wait for a more robust release!
