I got an HTC Desire a8181 almost a week ago. It is a 2.2 Android phone and quite different from my old Iphone 3G which was too damn slow after stupid Apple ios updates (rip offs)!
While I am enjoying the new world of Android there are a couple of downfalls to Desire which are the reason I am writing this post:
- It has too many physical buttons! Suppose you are checking your email or playing with Facebook app all on the touch screen then for more options you need to leave the soft touch screen and press a physical button which is a bit annoying to me. I wish all those extra buttons were touch as well. Specially the menu button sucks. You need to play with the phone to understand this.
- Another problem is that, you only unlock the phone by pressing the power button on top which is not a convenient location. I wish it was the optical trackball button instead (similar to Iphone)
- Do not expect the battery to work more than a day no matter how less you played with the phone!
