Choosing a VPS

I was after a good/cheap VPS provider to host some small projects using Tomcat/Apache/MySql.

My criteria were:

• RAM:  around 1 GB
• HDD:  more than 4 GB
• Bandwidth:  more than 60 GB (Calculate yours roughly using this formula: Average
  
  Daily Visitors x Average Page Views x Average Page Size x 31 )
• Price:  less than $ 70
• Reviews found on the net specially on (http://www.web-hosting-top.com, http://www.comparevps.com, http://vpschoice.com, http://hostjury.com )
• Has control panel
• Be Xen based
• A real service provider not reseller
  

There are many Tomcat providers but I needed full control so that was not my choice. I narrowed down my own list to the following but still investigating:

• Rimuhosting
• Linode
• VPSLink
• ?
